Kenneth Ramaekers is one individual who uniquely stands out. Kenneth has a vast knowledge and natural sense for what fashion is, while he has a genuine interest in its history that is enforced with a growing curiosity that leads him daily on new discoveries. I would be happy to further elaborate on my time working with him.

Kenneth has a great understanding of 20th-century fashion and during his time at the Hasselt museum curated a series of exciting and innovative exhibitions. He tried, where possible, to fill gaps within the existing collection. He will be an asset to any fashion cultural institution or business.

Working with Kenneth was always a pleasure. Not only is he a real connoisseur in the world of fashion, he is truly passionate about what he is doing. Kenneth has a flair for the avant-garde and good taste in all things well-made and designed by the best. He is a great listener and hands-on when it comes to delivering.

I had the chance to meet & work with Kenneth when he organized and welcomed the "Hello, my name is Paul Smith" exhibition at Modemuseum in Hasselt. Kenneth is extremely professional, he did a fantastic job, the exhibition received a great success thanks to all the energy Kenneth put in the organization & promotion of the event. Every aspects & details were absolutely under control, well orchestrated, anticipated and managed. And always with a smile! Kenneth has real personal & professional qualities & values & strong skills and also a real vision of fashion. It's been a great pleasure to work with him and conduct together a nice big project! I would be happy to get the opportunity to work with him again if the possibility turns up!

In 2012, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Kenneth Ramaekers as part of my job at the Belgian fashion label Raf Simons. As director of the Fashion Museum of Hasselt, he made an excellent selection from our archive, and managed to persuade the city of Hasselt to make this purchase to strengthen the collection of MMH.
This was the start of a very pleasant cooperation which lasted for years, as long as he was director of the Fashion Museum. His interest and encyclopaedic knowledge of everything fashionable makes him a valuable asset to every (fashion) museum and organization.

I have met Kenneth in times when he was director at Modemuseum Hasselt at the times when Maastricht and the Euregio were bidding for the title Cultural Capital of Europe. While being a director that brought new life to the museum, he was a dedicated partner in crime to cross borders, share knowledge and connect. This led to foundation of Fashion Across Borders vzw in 2011. FAB collaboration between Modemuseum Hasselt, FASHIONCLASH (Maastricht) and Designmetropole Aachen, resulted in various projects such as FAB Pop-up Stores in Maastricht, Aachen and Hasselt. Beside professional expertise and ability to think across disciplines and sectors, Kenneth is a remarkable human being.

Een man waar ik veel mee in de deelverzameling heb. Alleen is hij nog creatiever!

Kenneth is a creative guru and it was a pleasure to work with him in order to make sure we could put the luxury sports brand Rapha on the map in Maasmechelen Village. He truly knows what brand activation is and that guest experience is everything. An heroic bike ride from Maasmechelen Village to Knokke .... and back (450 km!) in only 1 day for charity was the 'icing on the cake'. Creative, innovative hard worker.
